Kastamonu became a partner of the 31st International Building and Interior Exhibition MosBuild 2026, which took place in Moscow from March 31 to April 3. As part of the event, the company organized a professional session featuring prominent experts from the Russian interior design market.

The Kastamonu Auditorium hosted renowned design and architecture experts, including Yevgeny Tyurin, President of the Union of Designers and Architects; Timofey Pronkin, a star of the entertainment industry and owner of a restoration workshop; and Sara Mikhailova, a distinguished designer-decorator ranked in the TOP-100 best designers in the world by Andrew Martin Review 2024–2025 and in the TOP-100 best designers in Russia.

Additionally, Kastamonu speakers participated in the Decorium design lecture hall with the topic "Materials That Stand the Test of Time: How to Choose Finishes Built to Last." Their presentation delved into the practical aspects of selecting finishing materials for interior and construction projects, sharing key criteria for durability, technological characteristics of coatings, and factors influencing material longevity under intensive use.

“It’s important to not only consider how a material looks immediately after renovation but also how it will perform over time — in 3–5 years. Often, issues arise not due to quality but because real usage conditions were not taken into account,” commented Sara Mikhailova.

Kastamonu experts also participated in a strategic session at the DIY Forum, where they, along with industry representatives, discussed the transformation of the building materials market and new opportunities for manufacturers in the face of economic instability. The discussion focused on changes in consumer demand, the development of distribution channels, and the adaptation of production strategies to the evolving market landscape.

“Today, buyers increasingly choose manufacturers who back up their claims with real actions. A vivid example is Kastamonu’s experiment conducted right in an airport. Their laminated flooring endured over one million footsteps — equivalent to about 12 years of active use in a kitchen by a family of three! And what’s especially notable — the results fully matched the stated characteristics: Kastamonu flooring truly doesn’t scratch. Moreover, I greatly appreciated the premium La Moena laminate, which creates an atmosphere of warmth and family comfort through the synergy of Turkish and Italian cultures. It also offers a wide range of solutions for bringing any design idea to life,” noted Timofey Pronkin.

Additionally, Kastamonu experts hosted a masterclass on working with the stone-polymer composite Craft Core, highlighting its installation features and laying options. The masterclass provided a detailed breakdown of the stages of installing the innovative Craft Core flooring. Participants learned the nuances and various plank-laying schemes to achieve aesthetically expressive interior solutions. Craft Core is not only stunningly beautiful but also offers numerous advantages: it is covered with a protective layer that prevents wear and scratches, and it is moisture-resistant, making it ideal for any room in the home.

Furthermore, at the Kastamonu lecture hall, a presentation was held on the premium La Moena flooring brand. A company expert introduced new laminate collections and provided a detailed analysis of the technical characteristics of the coverings. Thanks to the surface structure, the laminate is easy to clean, resists stains, and is scratch-resistant, durable, moisture-resistant, and resistant to high temperatures.

“Today, it is critically important that the declared characteristics of materials are not just a part of presentations but are fully delivered in reality. If a consumer’s expectations align with what they actually get — without surprises or ‘fine print’ — they won’t hesitate to return to you for their next project,” remarked Yevgeny Tyurin.

“For Kastamonu, participating in MosBuild is, above all, an opportunity for live dialogue with industry experts and collaborative creativity with designers and architects. We believe that it is through partnerships that truly inspiring interiors are born. In line with our brand slogan, ‘Color. Energy. Toward the Dream,’ and following our mission to bring comfort and coziness to every home, we present premium flooring solutions from the La Moena, Floorpan, and Craft Core brands, designed to form the foundation for bold ideas and daring design solutions,” emphasized Olga Klyueva, Head of Marketing at Kastamonu Russia.
