The international exhibition of furniture, interior items, components, and equipment for woodworking and furniture production, UMIDS, once again became a gathering point for industry leaders. Kastamonu, Russia's largest producer of laminate and MDF, participated in the exhibition held in Krasnodar from April 7 to 10, 2026.
UMIDS has established itself as an authoritative platform where current technologies and trends of the furniture industry are showcased through specific products and solutions. The exhibition serves as an effective space for dialogue between manufacturers, furniture retailers, designers, and market experts.
At UMIDS-2026, Kastamonu presented its updated range of decorative panels at a 100-square-meter booth. The spotlight was on the latest offerings from the Evosoft and Evogloss brands. The exclusive color solutions of these high-quality coatings are the perfect complement to any interior design, even the boldest concepts. Beyond their aesthetic appeal, these materials boast remarkable qualities, including outstanding resistance to stains, excellent protection against scratches and abrasive cleaning agents, and surfaces that are incredibly pleasant to the touch, adding comfort to daily use. Visitors to the booth were able to appreciate not only the visual variety and tactile properties of the materials but also learn about the advanced production technologies and undeniable advantages of the company's products.
Timofey Pronkin, a renowned furniture designer and restoration specialist, shared his expert opinion on Kastamonu's products. He highlighted the top three key advantages of the company's decorative panels: eco-friendliness, utility, and ease of maintenance. "From my personal experience, even intensive use, such as in children's rooms, leaves no marks on the surfaces. This is an undeniable plus for practical use in modern interiors," commented Timofey.
"The Kastamonu display became a focal point for a wide range of exhibition visitors — designers, furniture manufacturers, end consumers, and the professional community. We showcased the new Evosoft and Evogloss decorative panels, where color defines the character of a space, and the energy of the materials manifests in their durability, eco-friendliness, and high quality. Inspired by our slogan, 'Color. Energy. Toward the Dream,' and following the company's mission to create comfort and coziness in every home, we strive to offer solutions for creating expressive and contemporary interiors," noted Olga Klyueva, Head of Marketing at Kastamonu.
