Kastamonu continues its marathon of partnership meetings, which in 2026 has already covered several cities. On July 22-23, the company held its traditional event, Kastamonu Sweet Day, in Barnaul, bringing together experts and partners to discuss current market trends, new products, and the prospects for the development of the flooring segment in the region.
Barnaul, often referred to as the gateway to Altai, became an important stage in Kastamonu's event marathon. This region, known for its rich natural beauty, is an ideal location for showcasing flooring that combines the aesthetics of natural materials with advanced technologies.
The program spanned two thematic days and included expert insights into modern trends, discussions on product-related issues, consumer demands, and the development of the finishing materials market. The first day focused on decorative panels: participants were introduced to new collections, their unique features, and potential applications. The second day centered on flooring, highlighting the company’s key collections. Laminated flooring from the Floorpan range and the premium La Moena series impressed attendees with their realistic natural textures, enhanced water resistance, and premium quality.
As part of the business program, Kastamonu representatives were joined by experts from partner companies. Representatives from Impress, a manufacturer of decorative surfaces, shared industry expertise and discussed current interior design trends, while experts from AMDPR provided a professional perspective on the development of the interior design market. Event participants discussed changes in consumer preferences, key industry development directions, and outlined further steps for active and efficient collaboration.
One of the most spectacular events of the program was a unique crash test for flooring: horses, which guests could ride, walked on the stone-polymer composite Craft Core. The demonstration clearly highlighted the unique properties of the material — the flooring remained undamaged, retained its appearance, and proved its reliability and durability even under intense loads.
"The Kastamonu Sweet Day event in Barnaul was an important step in strengthening ties with the professional community of the Altai region and showcasing new solutions for interior design projects in the area. It was especially important for us to discuss current market demands with colleagues, exchange experiences, and better understand consumer preferences. Engaging dialogue with partners always provides the most valuable insights and offers a fresh perspective on some industry development issues. Through such communication and attention to detail, we fulfill the brand's main goal — not just creating products but giving people the opportunity to bring their interior dreams to life, following the slogan ‘Color. Energy. Toward the Dream,’" shared Olga Klyueva, Head of Marketing at Kastamonu Russia.
