According to the publication «Vedomosti South», the trend of "warm minimalism" and the use of natural materials in interiors is gaining momentum in 2025–2026. Among the most in-demand solutions are wood decors, natural tones, and textured surfaces. In light of the growing interest in natural aesthetics and modern interior solutions, Kastamonu hosted its traditional event for distributors, Kastamonu Sweet Day, in Pyatigorsk.

On May 20–21, 2026, Kastamonu brought together experts and partners to discuss current market trends, new products, and prospects for the development of flooring and decorative panel segments. Pyatigorsk marked the first city in the company’s 2026 marathon of traditional partner events. Next on the itinerary are Krasnoyarsk, Barnaul, Vladivostok, Samara, and Tyumen.

The program was divided into two thematic days. On May 20, the focus was on decorative panels, new MDF production technologies, and relevant approaches to creating modern interior solutions. One of the main highlights was the presentation of the Evosoft decorative panel collection, which has already won recognition among furniture industry professionals for its innovative double-sided coating, modern designs, and high performance characteristics. Kastamonu experts also showcased high-quality glossy and matte panels from the Evogloss range, as well as extra-matte Acrymat and Acrylic panels with a high gloss finish. Participants highlighted the relevance of the color options, the materials' resistance to stains and scratches, and the pleasant tactile properties of the surfaces.

On May 21, participants addressed key issues in the flooring market, contemporary architectural trends, and innovative solutions in laminate production. Special attention was given to the premium La Moena flooring brand, which combines the cultures and best practices of Turkey and Italy. Experts introduced new laminate collections and highlighted their key features, including moisture resistance, wear resistance, scratch resistance, and ease of maintenance. Additionally, Kastamonu speakers presented flagship collections such as Floorpan and the next-generation stone-polymer composite Craft Core, designed for those who seek to transform spaces into expressive interiors with thoughtful aesthetics and bold accents.

The business program featured experts in flooring and decorative panel production, including Kastamonu specialists and company partners such as Impress representatives. They shared industry expertise, discussed modern trends, and highlighted relevant solutions for the interior design market. Event attendees were among the first to learn about Kastamonu’s new products and innovations, as well as to discuss consumer preference changes and key industry development directions with company representatives.

Special attention was given to informal networking. Guests engaged in discussions, explored modern market trends, and exchanged professional experiences in a comfortable atmosphere. "The 2026 marathon of our traditional Kastamonu Sweet Day events began in Pyatigorsk. Following the philosophy of our slogan, 'Color. Energy. Toward the Dream,' we continue to grow actively, inspire the market with new ideas, and introduce modern collections of flooring and decorative panels. For us, it is not just about offering contemporary products but being part of the trends and ideas that define the future of the industry," remarked Olga Klyueva, Head of Marketing at Kastamonu Russia.
